Please read these terms carefully before registering, sponsoring or participating in the Mile for Mother event.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a participant, sponsor, volunteer, exhibitor or partner for Mile for Mother, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Your registration or participation constitutes your acceptance of these terms.

2. Event Registration

  • All registrations are subject to successful payment and confirmation.
  • The organizer reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel any registration at its sole discretion.
  • Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3. Sponsorship Policy

  • All sponsorship contributions, CSR support, partnership fees and donations are final.
  • Sponsored amounts are strictly non-refundable, irrespective of withdrawal, cancellation, non-attendance or any other reason unless otherwise agreed in writing by the organizer.
  • Sponsorship benefits will be provided as per the agreed sponsorship category.

4. Event Schedule

  • The organizer reserves the right to modify the event date, venue, route, schedule or program due to weather conditions, government directives, public safety concerns, natural calamities, force majeure events or any unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any such changes will be communicated through the official website, email, SMS or other official communication channels.
  • Such changes shall not entitle participants or sponsors to any refund or compensation.

5. Health & Medical Responsibility

  • Every participant is solely responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to participate in the event.
  • Participants are strongly advised to undergo a health check-up by a qualified medical practitioner before participating.
  • Participation is entirely at the participant's own risk.
  • The organizer shall not be responsible or liable for any illness, injury, disability, medical emergency, hospitalization or death occurring before, during or after the event.
  • The organizer may provide basic first-aid assistance for minor injuries at designated medical points during the event. Such assistance shall not constitute medical treatment or create any additional liability on the organizer.

6. Personal Responsibility

  • Participants are responsible for their own belongings throughout the event.
  • The organizer shall not be liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
  • Participants must follow all instructions issued by event officials, volunteers and security personnel.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Abusive behaviour, violence, intoxication, harassment, discrimination, vandalism or any unlawful activity may result in immediate removal without refund.
  • The organizer reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone violating these rules.

8. Photography & Media Consent

Participants grant Mile for Mother the unrestricted right to photograph, film, record and use their name, likeness, voice, photographs and videos for promotional, educational, documentary, advertising and social media purposes without additional compensation.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

  • By submitting any registration or enquiry form, you consent to the collection, processing and storage of your personal information for event administration, communication and related services.
  • Your information will be handled responsibly and will not be sold to third parties.
  • Where applicable, data processing shall be carried out in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR principles relating to consent, transparency and lawful processing.
  • You may request correction or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

10. Intellectual Property

All logos, trademarks, event branding, designs, photographs, graphics and website content are the intellectual property of Mile for Mother or their respective owners and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mile for Mother, its organizers, trustees, volunteers, partners, sponsors and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from participation in or association with the event.

12. Force Majeure

The organizer shall not be held responsible for delay, cancellation or modification of the event resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, civil disturbances or acts of God.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Declaration

By registering, sponsoring, volunteering or participating in Mile for Mother, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and voluntarily agreed to these Terms & Conditions. You further confirm that you are participating at your own risk, are medically fit to participate, consent to the processing of your information for event-related purposes, and agree to comply with all instructions issued by the event organizers.
